BasketFit Notes

Practical guide

Handle missing espresso accessory specifications honestly

A useful comparison can show what is known and what still needs a supplied specification. BasketFit Notes keeps incomplete rows visible instead of filling gaps with assumptions.

Treat blank values as unknown

A missing diameter, tab count, or depth creates an unknown check. The row does not become a positive match simply because another dimension happens to align.

possible match requires every supplied dimension and tab check to align

Use tolerance as a review choice

The default diameter and depth tolerances are 0.5 mm. A tolerance should reflect how the measurement was obtained and which dimensions need a closer source check.

A 58.2 mm accessory is within a 0.5 mm diameter window around 58.0 mm, while a missing depth still requires a source value.

Move from screen to documentation

When a row is unknown or mismatched, locate the exact machine and accessory documents, confirm the intended interface, then replace the illustrative CSV row with the supplied values.

Check your own scenario

Replace the illustrative inputs with measured values and dated specifications.
